Rate Limits
Policy
Rate limits vary by account tier and endpoint family. The direct chat endpoint (/v1/chat/completions) is limited by your provider's own rate limits. Stilt execution endpoints (/v1/{author}/{stilt}/chat/completions) count against your daily pipeline run quota.
Free accounts receive a daily pipeline run limit. Paid accounts have higher or unlimited quotas.
Integration Strategy
Queue user-triggered bursts, debounce repeated requests, and monitor 429 rates in your client logs to smooth high-volume usage.
